It's auction time! MIX's 2014 Naked Eye Benefit is Coming

Being subscribed to my email list is probably a bit like the old Monty Python skit: "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" You never know when to expect a message from me.

Well, I just wanted to share a bit of news, and try to get you to put my upcoming event on YOUR calendars. This is not just for New Yorkers, either. I mean all of you... everywhere on planet Earth.

This month, I'm helping to run a big fundraising campaign for the MIX NYC organization, and it's one I'm especially proud of. It's massive, and I've been working on it for the last six months. We call it the Naked Eye Celebrity Camera Auction.

I'm including a copy of the event announcement we just sent over the MIX list. Take a gander, and do definitely click through to the MIX website to see if YOUR favorite celebrities are participating. If they are, I hope to see you bidding online. And if you are in New York City on May 15th, I also encourage you to come party with us.

That's all for now. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Bidding begins May 12th on eBay

Then come party with us in celebration
May 15th at The Slipper Room

Party with some of NYC’s most talented burlesque, cabaret, drag, and performance artists on Thursday, May 15th at a one-night-only variety extravaganza at The Slipper Room in Manhattan’s lower east side.

Emceed by RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Alaska Thunderfuck — an extraordinary lineup of performers will include Michael Musto and Molly Pope, Machine Dazzle, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Xavier Smith, Trixie Little and Mr. Gorgeous, and Claywoman (performed by Michael Cavadias). Singing, dancing, stripping, screaming, Michael Musto impersonating Judy Garland - you won’t be prepared for what you’re going to see!

The evening will also feature a “mix” and mingle with cash bar, pan-gender go-go, side-show acts, and aerialists. Attendees will also get the chance to mingle with a number of MIX’s supporters in the arts, including photographer Jaimie Warren and writer/director Adam Goldman. Other special guests whose names we are not at liberty to disclose will also be in the audience - you’ll have to be there to find out who.

General admission is $25, and a limited number of $50 reserved front-row seats are also available in advance. Tickets can be purchased online at, and more information is available at:
