Kate Bornstein has cancer. The good news, direct from the team of skilled doctors on her case, is that the cancer is curable. Kate Bornstein is a major trans activist and author and here’s a fund to help with medical costs. It’s like Kickstarter, except an actual life depends on it. I know it’s more fashionable to write blog posts about some lesser-known folk singer ranting about gay people, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could share this instead and help someone who has done nothing but positive things? Think about who you’d rather pay attention to.
