Oh, yes. And Mr. President. One more thing...

Dear President Obama,

How about stepping up and restoring peace in our country. How about ending our state of PERPETUAL war.

Instead of WAR at the center of everything, how about putting child survival at the center of everything. How about putting education into the center of your policy agenda. How about being the Education President, not the perpetual war President, because that's what the last President did and look at where we are today.

How about, while we're at it, putting community service back in the center of our national policy agenda. How about re-funding the Corporation for National Service to a level that is respectable. How about making it even, fruitful. How about, bounteous.

And, back to the children. How about service-learning. How about increasing Learn and Serve America funding, and giving children the opportunity to put what they learn to good use. For themselves, and their families, and their communities.

How about, Mr. President, restoring America. You said you wanted to restore HOPE. We're past the point of needing just hope. We need to RESTORE America itself.

Throughout this campaign, I hope you will focus on restoring. Replenishing. Renewing. Growing. Saving. Serving. Protecting. Protect us with PEACE, not war.

Mr. Obama. Are you listening? These are the things America needs, and the people of our country need you to lead us to them. Mr. Obama. How about it.

Speaking of the Occupy Wall St. phenomenon — allow me to draw your attention to something on the topic, something of global proportion and universal importance: the right of all individuals — of the 99%, not just the 1% — to lifesaving healthcare, especially in the case of preventable illness, including AIDS!

The AIDS Crisis isn't over. 
Don't know what you've heard, but it's not.
It isn't over — but it could be!

And so — the infamous and influential AIDS activist group ACT UP has called for a massive demonstration and march on Wall Street on Thursday, April 25. It is ACT UP New York's 25th Anniversary this month, and on this anniversary they are pulling out all the stops. They are joining forces with OWS to form a united front in calling for universal healthcare, and the END OF AIDS!

This is the Call-to-Action, as articulated thus far:

ACT UP & Occupy!
Tax Wall Street!
END AIDS!
